#101 – A-Z Bible Teachers’ Checklist

These “checklists” will be
posted on an ongoing basis to
help Christian educators with
tips, ideas, and instructions.

Hold a Teachers
Empowerment
Conference

For you can all prophesy one by one, so that
all may learn and all may be exhorted. (I Cor. 14:31)

What to Do:

  1. Have a meeting with teachers and tell them that you propose to have a teachers only empowerment conference — using them as the presenters (Prov. 27:17).
  2. You could include some topics, such as: The Importance Of An Introduction, Storytelling, Teach With Heart, Knowing Your Student, What’s In A Question?, Teaching On A Child’s Level, The Discipline Of Study, Student Learning Styles, and others.
  3. Hold the conference on more than one day if you have many teachers.
  4. Choose the best teacher for a topic and give each one 15 minutes to make their presentation.

IDEA STARTER!

“Our church held a two-day teacher empowerment conference, entitled: “Commissioned to Teach”. All teachers had 15-minute assignments. A number of them had unique and powerful presentations. Each teacher was given a sub-topic related to their teaching ability. This was very helpful because even though everyone had the ability to teach, we were empowered by getting information about the teaching abilities and strengths of other teachers.”

Introduce Your Sunday School Class With Invitation Cards!

Ask your financial committee to cut a check for 25.00 to create 500 business cards for your class(es). Hand them out to students who, in turn, will write their teachers name down on the card and give them to visitors of your church services. Instruct your students and teachers to “blitz” new faces, inviting them to attend your class. Giving these cards as invitations can be effective if enough students approach the same people at different times.

DETAILS OF OUR BIBICAL TRAINING FALL COURSE 2017

We will be studying in a classroom environment but the assignments will be done online. Exceptions can be made to take written tests, as well.

The training will be every Monday from 6:30 PM until 8:45 PM. Excellent anointed and seasoned instructors will inform and train students in the classroom setting.  This will be a great opportunity for serious students to learn more about the Bible and biblical related issues. The duration of the course will last approximately 7 months. You do not need to attend all classes, but assignments are due each week prior to the next session. If you cannot make some sessions, you may do assignments online and submit them to be graded. Our studies will cover five books to complete the Biblical training. You will be able to use “open book” during the online testing. Testing for two chapters is required per week.

The Book: “From Shadow to Light” by PCAF Author Clarice Baldwin

This book is a study guide in effort to increase spiritual and educational insight into major covenants of Old and New Testaments and other disciplines involved.

A biblical covenant is a sovereign pronouncement of the LORD by which He established a relationship with the patriots, individual parties or nations.

From Shadow to Light is a systematic study of the Old Testament covenants. It also introduces the humanity of Christ, as the mediator of the New Testament Covenant to the sprinkling of blood that speaketh better things than that of Abel. (Heb.12:24)

Instead of traditional chapters, it is my discretion to use “lesson” numbers. Each lesson should be carefully explored in accord with scriptures introduced (or others) in an effort to comprehend the message enclosed, as one follows the generational paths of the Seed/Deliver emerging from the shadow of the Old Testament into the light of the New Testament.

Lesson 1 – The Edenic Covenant.
Lesson 2 – Adamic Covenant.
Lesson 3 – Noahic Covenant.
Lesson 4 – The Promise, Part 1.
Lesson 5 – The Promise, Part 2.
Lesson 6 – Jacob (the third Patriarch)
Lesson 7 – Mosaic/Sinaitic Covenant (Treaty)
Lesson 8 – Davidic Covenant (“New Royal Grant.”)
