Every Friday evening –
from 7 p.m. – 8 p.m

WE ARE TAKING REGISTRATIONS NOW FOR THESE PHONE-IN LIVE STUDIES – AND ENROLLING FOR OUR RECURRING STUDENT CLASS.

INSTRUCTIONS AT-A-GLANCE:
  • Students may enroll and start the 16-week RECURRING training at any time.
    (Whatever lesson students start at in the training they must complete all 16 sessions to officially complete the RECURRING course.)
  • The sessions will be held on Fridays.
  • The class time will be from 7:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
  • All sessions will be held by phone.
  • The entire 16-week course registration is 25.00.
  • Your book fee is 25.00.
    (There will be an additional shipping/handling/online processing fee.)
  • You may encourage other students to enroll in our RECURRING training.

To all “Great…” students: 
This information goes out to those of you who have expressed an interest in our 16-week training course. Currently, we have 14 students registered and taking the weekly training. This information is also being sent to an additional 14 students who initially expressed an interest, but have not responded to our latest e-mails. Please note: if you are in the U.S., it takes approximately 5 days to receive your training manual.
If you can’t currently register and be
“in-class”, remember, this course is ongoing
and you can start at any time.
So…let’s say you hear about the class and we are in our ninth week of training. You may register and start taking the ninth session. You will continue from the ninth to the sixteenth session. After the sixteenth session, you will then take sessions one through eight.

Study of Names

Find out the original meaning of names on this website. Also glean name elements or “pieces” found in names, such as: el  – meaning “God” (GabriEL, JoEL, ELijah).

What to Do:

  1. Go to the website: http://www.behindthename.com
  2. Type in a name in the search box at the top
  3. Explore the meaning, history, popularity, and related names

You may also browse names or search names by category, such as “biblical”, “historical”, “popular”, etc.

Stay Close to the Scriptures!

Until I come, give attention to the public
reading of Scripture, to exhortation
and teaching. (I Tim. 4:13)

What to Do:

  • Take time to REALLY look at the scriptures while studying for your lesson and focus on every word and detail (Matt. 5:18). Go over each scripture many times in detail. This can be a slow process, but it can yield greater truths and make your teaching more enriching.
  • If you have taken the time to prepare and study, you must also have the discipline to teach your students what you have learned. (I Tim. 4:14-16).
  • Rarely stray away from the scriptures under study while teaching your lesson (Acts 8:26-35).
  • Never get tied up in unrelated class discussions that take the focus off the lesson under study (I Tim. 1:3-4).
  • You will have opportunities to enlighten your students (with the scriptures) against worldly fads and trends that constantly surface (Eph. 4:14-15).

Word Pronunciation
on New Website

And knowledge will

What to Do:

Play a game of Bible word pronunciation at www.howtopronounce.com

  1. Display a word on a board or screen.
  2. Ask the class to pronounce the word.
  3. Type in the word on the website’s search box.
  4. Put a microphone near your device (so everyone can hear).
  5. Click the “Pronounce” icon.
  6. Click on your word under the words “Pronounce in English”.
  7. Click the speaker icon to hear the word pronounced.
  8. Have fun!
