Give Them
Consistent
Teaching

Show yourself to be an example
of good deeds, with purity in doctrine,
dignified, sound in speech…. (Titus 2:7)

What to Do:

  • As a teacher, you are an example who must never tire in your work of teaching God’s Word (Deut. 1:1 & 4:5-6).
  • Your teaching (and the teaching of others) should be a continuous cycle for the purpose of maturing the body of Christ (Eph. 4:11-16).
  • Growth in your students cannot always be measured in terms of days or weeks, but through consistent teaching you can expect God to change lives (Mark 4:1-20).
  • There will be some students who will attend your class for many years. Feed them well. Your teaching can save marriages, give hope, fight depression, and change generations (Col. 2:6-7).

Learning from the
Greatest Teacher

Never has a man spoken the
way this man speaks
(John 7:46)

  • Jesus was a revolutionary teacher who associated with common people and taught them God’s Word. They had never heard such refreshing words before (Matt. 7:28-29).
  • Jesus’ words had power and authority. They spoke directly to, and addressed, the conflict of the human heart. As a teacher, pattern your teaching from the Master, who really understood people (John 2:23-25) and met them where they were.
  • Jesus was a creative teacher. He used God’s creation, and His students’ environment as resources and tools to teach. We can use our Lord’s methods by teaching students with what is common and known to them and use that as a bridge to introduce greater truths (Matt. 13:44).

Researching Our Pentecostal Apostolic History

Finding out where we have come from as Apostolics (outside of the bible) is not an easy task.

Have you ever wanted to know more about the history of Pentecostal revivals, former organizations, pioneers of Pentecost, materials and writings of founding fathers, and other questions about our past? Do you know why we are not only Pentecostal, but are Apostolic, as well?

There is a website that has answers and resources to many questions about who we are and where we have come from.

Check it out at http://www.apostolicarchives.com

(As with any source, we suggest you research and check with other
sources to verify the accuracy of the information on any website.)
