The Houses of God

ICEA – “Church at Study”

Have you ever wondered about the houses of God — from the first-established tabernacle in the wilderness to the last temple that will be erected during the end-times? Click on the text below to explore a handout on a study of the houses of God:

 Houses of God

You may use the handout for study or a teacher may want to discuss with his/her class.

NOTE: As you study the scriptures, keep in mind that there were many less known temples, synagogues, and houses of God where people have worshipped throughout history. OUR STUDY FOCUSES ON THE SIGNIFICANT PLACES FOR JEWISH WORSHIP NOTED IN THE BIBLE. Although there are biblical accounts where “the body of Christ” came together to worship, this study does not focus on how we assemble in our meeting places, such as houses, storefronts, churches, and cathedrals.
