Ask Students
Questions
Jesus said to her, Woman
why are you weeping? Whom are
you seeking? (John 20:15)

What to Do:
- During the study of your lesson, carefully prepare a good question to ask students in the classroom.
- Ask students questions and poll them. Find out what their thinking is…on the scriptures and issues related to them (Luke 8:43-48).
- Most students need time to reply to questions…so don’t be quick to respond with answers after you present a question (Matt. 21:23-27).
- Sometimes ask questions to get the class “pulse”, then gauge the best direction in which the class should proceed (Matt. 16:13-20).
- Handle students carefully who respond to your questions with incorrect answers. Try to reply in such a way to help the student “save face”. If you do, they should recover quickly.
